If you were injured in a terrorist attack
overseas after 27 November 2012, you may be able to receive criminal compensation payouts for your
loss and suffering. However there is a strict criterion that needs to be
followed to be eligible to make a claim. The following text contains important

overseas.
Eligibility
Criteria:-
To be able to make a claim for criminal compensation payouts you need
to be:-

Injured physically and or
mentally in a particular act of terrorism.

A witness to a terrorist attack
in which a loved one was injured.

A witness to a terrorist attack
in which a partner or close family member was killed.
Furthermore, you meet the following basic
requirements to make a claim:-

You must be a citizen of the
UK, EEA, EU and Switzerland. The same rule applies for your family member or
spouse.

You must have lived in the UK
for at least 3 years immediately before the incident.
You CANNOT however claim for all acts of
terrorism. So far you can claim for the acts of terrorism only from the

employees in Jama’are, Nigeria

The attack in Westgate shopping
mall in Nairobi, Keyna.

The terrorist attack in Bardo
National Musum in Tunis, Tunisia.

The terrorist attack at Port el
Kantaoui near Sousse, Tunisia
